The "A Pair of Happiness" project
was conceived with the noble aim of supplying durable footwear to economically
disadvantaged students attending schools in rural Anatolia. Our mission is to
distribute a total of 10,000 pairs of shoes to students in need across 33
cities. We have chosen elementary school students in the 1st to 3rd grades as
our primary beneficiaries, as they are particularly vulnerable to inclement
weather and face long commutes to school.
In collaboration with dedicated teachers and
local municipalities, this project has not only provided much-needed footwear
but has also facilitated one-to-one communication with the children,
identifying those who are in dire need of individual sponsorship.
Started in 2016 as a licensed charity
campaign, the "A Pair of Happiness" project successfully concluded in
late 2017. Through this initiative, we have striven to make a meaningful
difference in the lives of young students, offering them comfort, protection,
and hope on their educational journeys.

The footwear provided through our "A Pair
of Happiness" initiative is purposefully designed to meet the needs of
economically disadvantaged students. These shoes are more than just a
necessity; they are crafted to withstand the rigors of rural life and harsh
weather conditions.
Our shoes are built with sturdy soles and are
entirely waterproof. This design ensures that students' feet remain dry and
comfortable, regardless of weather conditions.
To prevent deformation and ensure long-lasting
use, sections of the shoes at the front and back are hardened through injection
molding.
Designed with convenience in mind, these shoes
come with velcro straps, allowing children to easily put them on and take them
off. This feature promotes independence and confidence among students.
The straps are reinforced with an additional
layer of leather, ensuring the shoes remain in excellent condition even with
daily wear and tear.
The inner lining of the shoes is made from
"tartan" fabric, commonly used in seasonal shoes. This material
provides comfort and prevents sweating, making these shoes suitable for
year-round wear.
